Transylvania has stunning Nature and is also known for bears. We kept looking out for them, but never saw one (boohoo). Also the Romanians have a decorative architecture style that I really enjoyed to look at while passing the little villages. Our next destination were the breathtaking Fagaras mountains with its famous windy streets. It’s high up in the and there for only open a few month a year when the snow melts. It rained quite heavily but it was still absolutely beautiful. We decided to stay there for the night so we could drive those curves when It was dry and fully enjoy the ride.
That night we stayed close to field of sheep. We found it really cool, but at night shepherd dogs looked after them and kept comping to our car. We ended up hiding out in the car and only sneaking out, when the dogs where gone. We had to laugh because we were being so ridiculous. Up on 2134 meter the place was coved in snow, it felt like we landed in an empty polar camp. We quickly continued to the curvy streets right below the fog. Id love to go back when It’s slightly warmer and do some hiking there.
